Junagarh Fort in Bikaner stands out as one of Rajasthan’s most meticulously crafted heritage forts. Unlike many other forts in the region, Junagarh was not built on a ridge, making it a unique architectural marvel. Throughout history, its beauty and strategic significance attracted the attention of numerous rulers, leading to multiple attempts to conquer it. Despite several attacks, the fort was only successfully captured once by Kamran Mirza, the son of Babar, who held it for just one day.
