About Bharatpur

Bharatpur, dating back to the 5th century BC, is a city steeped in history and beauty. Named after ‘Bharat,’ the younger brother of Lord Ram, it is renowned for its natural charm and wildlife habitats. Located approximately 178 km from Jaipur, Bharatpur is famously known as the Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan. Among its most celebrated attractions is the Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which draws nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
